NGORONGORO CRATER
This conservation area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Crater Highlands of Tanzania is situated in the largest volcanic crater in the world and is often hailed as one of the ‘seven natural wonders’ of Africa. It has a remarkable concentration of wildlife species, including many rare species such as the black rhino. It’s truly an amazing place for photographers. Additionally, it is famed for its prehistoric connections with Olduvai Gorge where the man’s earliest remains were found.

SERENGETI
The oldest and most iconic famous destination in African renowned for the world famous wildebeest and zebra migration, a truly remarkable wildlife show worth planning for. The route and timing of the wildebeest migration is unpredictable. Visitors are advised to allow at least three days to be assured of seeing them or longer if you want to see the main predators as well. Serengeti also offers a vast wild species including the hippo families along the banks of the Grumeti River.

TARANGIRE
Tarangire tour is often combined with a visit to Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The 2850sq km of national park is a home to magnificent herds of elephant and an array of other wildlife. LAKE MANYARA
This world-famous water feature runs for 50 kilometers (31 miles) along the base of the Rift Valley escarpment in northern Tanzania. It a relatively small national park but its incredible diversity and concentration of animals, more than 400 birds’ species, and a wide-ranging terrain make this one of the highlights of any safari holiday.

GOMBE STREAM
Tanzania’s smallest park, located on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, is it a famous home of several endangered Chimpanzee communities that occupy steep slopes and river valleys. Large amounts of wildlife are not found in this area, but the park is home to a number of different species of monkey including the red colobus, red-tail and blue monkey, grey duiker, bushbuck, and bushpig. The Jane Goodall Institute has worked for decades to investigate and protect these fascinating primates.
